Join us on Halloween weekend for spooky fun! We've got batty crafts for wizards and witches and storytelling puppets to entertain the family. And if you've ever wondered what a stag's antlers feel like, come to our Beastly Laboratory for a close up look at some of nature's magic. Saturday 24th September marks the Annual Autumn Gathering in Coole for Lady Gregory and W.B. Yeats enthusiasts, which will be hosted in the Visitor Centre from 9:30am. Come along to our Bat Walk with a NPWS Conservation Ranger to discover the mysterious world of bats and learn about their nocturnal habits. Hopefully you'll get to hear and see some of these wonderful creatures too! This event is free, but weather dependent. Please come prepared with sturdy footwear, a torch and hi-vis vest for children, and you can park in the main Visitor Centre car park in Coole Park Nature Reserve.
